FAQ – HEALTH
All students will be temperature checked upon arrival at school. A best practice for parents would be to check their children's temperatures before departing to help avoid sending a feverish student on the bus. Staff will be self-screening from home. This will enable the schools to have more time to find a substitute in the event that a staff member is running a high temperature.
If the NJ Travel Restrictions continue and you travel to a restricted state/location, then yes your child would need to quarantine for 14 days upon return. The student would be learning virtually during that time.
If medically exempt, students will not have to wear a mask. However, you will need to provide documentation from a physician. Please reach out to your building principal to make accommodations.
Every effort will be made for virtual learning to continue for our students. If a student is sick, they can most likely follow the blue/gold lesson online. If they will be out a prolonged period of time, we should have virtual instruction available.
